2023 - Lecturer of Physics Education at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Fuji Hernawati Kusumah, S.Pd, M.Si, Achieves the Highest EDOM Rating at FITK
Jakarta, September 2, 2023 — Fuji Hernawati Kusumah, S.Pd, M.Si, a lecturer in the Physics Education Department at the Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta, achieved the highest Student Lecturer Evaluation (EDOM) rating at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK). This achievement was announced at a lecture preparation meeting held on September 1, 2023.
Familiarly known as Mrs. Fuji, this lecturer received an EDOM rating of 3.71. This rating reflects Mrs. Fuji's dedication and teaching quality that has been recognized by her students. This evaluation consists of various aspects, including teaching methodology, lecturer-student interaction, and the relevance of the material taught.
Ms. Fuji is known as a lecturer who combines traditional approaches and modern technology in teaching. In addition, he is also active in research activities and has published a number of journal articles that contribute to the development of physics education in Indonesia.

Jakarta, June 25, 2023 - Mrs. Fuji Hernawati Kusumah, S.Pd., M.Si, a lecturer in Physics Education at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, has again recorded a proud achievement in the international arena. This time, she won the 'Best Presenter' award at the 2023 International Physics Seminar organized by Jakarta State University and the Physical Society of Indonesia on June 24, 2023.
The paper presented by Ms. Fuji entitled "Antioxidant Activity and Release Profile of Electrospun Cellulose Acetate/Gelatin Nanofiber containing Mangosteen Hull Extract" attracted the attention of experts and seminar participants. This study discusses the potential antioxidant activity and release profile of nanofibers made from cellulose acetate and gelatin with mangosteen peel extract as its component.
"We are very proud of the achievements of Mrs. Fuji," said the Head of Physics Education Study Program. "This proves that our lecturers have high competence and great dedication in developing science, especially in the field of physics."
This award opens wider opportunities for further research and collaboration between institutions. Retirement of Mr. Drs. Hasian Pohan, M. SiT
The Physics Education Study Program together with the Physics Education Student Association held a Retirement event for Mr. Hasian Pohan, M.Sc. with the theme "Retracing the Journey to Become an Excellent Lecturer and Researcher", on July 6, 2022 which took place at the 3rd Floor Theater of FITK.
This activity was held to honor the retirement of lecturer Hasian Pohan, M.Sc. with a series of live activities. This activity was attended by all lecturers of Physics Education along with alumni and the Physics Education Student Association and representatives of students from each class to perform to show their skills to enable this Purna Bakti activity.
The event was opened with an MC, a speech from the Head of the Physics Education Study Program, Mr. Iwan Permana Suwarna, M.Pd and alumni representatives, the event was continued with the recitation of the holy verses of the Al-Quran, then presented the journey of Mr. Hasian Pohan during his time as a lecturer and becoming an excellent researcher, delivery of impressions and messages from the Physics Education lecturers for Mr. Hasian Pohan, which was then continued with performances from representatives of each class.

Physics Education Lecturer Holds Scientific Writing Training Event
HMPS and the Physics Education Study Program of UIN Jakarta held a Scientific Writing Training event on Saturday and Sunday, (20-21/11/2021) virtually via Zoom Cloud Meeting. The event was attended by around 120 Physics Education students and alumni, with speakers from the Physics Education Study Program lecturers, namely Kinkin Suartini, M.Pd., Taufiq Al Farizi, M.PFis., Ai Nurlaela, M.Sc., Dzikri Rahmat Ramadhon, M.PFis., Dwi Nanto, M.Sc., Ph.D., Fuji Hernawati Kusumah, M.Sc., Iwan Permana Suwarna, M.Pd., Erina Hertanti, M.Sc., Fathiah Alatas, M.Sc., Devi Solehat, M.Pd., Ahmad Suryadi, M.Pd., and Muhammad Furqon, M.Pd.
On this occasion, the Head of the Physics Education Study Program, Iwan Permana Suwarna, M.Pd., delivered his remarks and at the same time provided motivation to Physics Education students to start learning to write well from the early semester, without having to wait until later when they are going to write their thesis.
"Students should start getting used to reading a lot of literature because writing skills are closely related to the amount of reading material that has been studied. If we don't have material to write, then we will find it difficult to write, because we don't know what to write, said Iwan.

The Lecturer Meeting of the Faculty of Islamic Education and Teaching (FITK) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta was held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020. The Initial Meeting of the odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year was attended by the Dean of FITK, Vice Deans, Professors, Heads of Study Programs, and Faculty Lecturers. The meeting was attended by 220 lecturers through a virtual meeting media with the Zoom application.
At the meeting, the achievements of IKU in the Even Semester of 2019/2020 and the learning activity plan for the 2020/2021 academic year were presented. At the end of the meeting session, a sharing session was held in optimizing online learning during the pandemic. The speakers were Mr. Dr. Abdul Muin, m.Pd (Vice Dean of Administration) and two lecturers from the Physics Education/Education study program, namely Mr. Iwan Permana Suwarna, M.Pd and Mr. Dzikri Rahmat Romadhon, S.Pd, M.PFis. In the sharing session, Mr. Abdul Muin explained how to use AIS (Academic Information System) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Mr Dzikri Rahmat Romadhon explained the use of Google products to carry out active learning with the Synchronous concept using the Jamboard application, several interactive quizzes, etc. While Iwan Peramana Suwarna gave tips on how Asynchronous learning can feel semi-synchronous by implementing discussion learning strategies in the lecture agenda.

Physics Education Lecturer Awarded the Satyalancana Karya Satya Honorary Medal

SC Parking Lot, FITK Online NEWS– A total of 27 FITK lecturers received the Satyalancana Karya Satya honorary award from the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo for their dedication to the country for 10 years, 20 years, and 30 years.
The honorary award based on Presidential Decree Number 131/TK/2019 dated December 9, 2019 was awarded by the Chancellor of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Hj. Amany Lubis, MA, at the 74th Ministry of Religion's Charity Day (HAB) which was commemorated by UIN Jakarta on Friday (3/1/2020) at the Student Center Parking Lot after the flag-raising ceremony led directly by the Chancellor.
The 27 lecturers and one FITK administrator are Dr Hasyim Asyari MPd and Dr Muhbib Abd Wahab MAg (26 years old), Dr Maifalinda Fatra SAg MPd and Dr Abdul Rozak MSi (23 years old), Drs Aminuddin Yakub MAg, Muhammad Zuhdi MEd PhD, Dr Zainal Muttaqin MA, Dr Siti Khadijah MA, Dr Abdul Ghofur MA, and Dr Ahmad Royani MHum (all six are 22 years old).
Next, Imam Thobroni (21 years old), Neneng Sunengsih MPd and Dr Ratna Sari Dewi MPd (both 20 years old), Dr Sapiudin MAg (19 years old), Dra Nurdelima Waruwu MPd (18 years old), Firdausi MPd (15 years old), Syaripulloh MSI, Dr Munasprianto Ramli MA, Dr Fauzan MA, Nengsih Juanengsih MPd, Kinkin Suartini MPd (all five are 13 years old), Yanti Herlanti MPd, Dr Iwan Purwanto MPd, Dr Lia Kurniawati MPd (all three are 12 years old), Iwan Permana Suwarna MPd (11 years old), Dr Abdul Muin MPd and Ahmad Irfan Mufid MA (both 10 years old).
Apart from lecturers, two FITK administrators were also awarded the award, namely Hasanuddin MPd (11 years old) and Muslim Kamil SE (10 years old).
It was noted in the HAB commemoration ceremony themed "Harmonious Ummah, Advanced Indonesia" that honorary awards were given to 175 Civil Servants (PNS) of UIN Jakarta, both functional and structural PNS. The 10-year Satyalancana was given to 98 people, the 20-year Satya Lencana was given to 52 people, and the 30-year Satyalancana was given to 25 people.
